My favorite emotional games

Hello fellow friends, tonight I sit alone in my room, I've got a lot on my mind as I have just finished a very emotional game, I will not mention it in this post since the review will be posted this week. A fair warning, there is a few triggering topics mentioned, please skip this article if you are not in the best place right now. Now please, grab a warm drink and settle down for my favorite emotional games...

Before you eyes.

Before your eyes (By GoodByeWorld games) is a stunning game, about a soul going through the after life. You as the player can blink to move the game along and make the choices, every blink and every choice right before your eyes can change your outcome of how you lived your life. While your soul is going to the end, you see all of your memories, all of your choices, the fun and the heartbreaking memories. This game holds such a special place in my heart, and I have never cried so much for a video game. I couldn't sleep that night after playing this game due to me just stuck up on the thought and how this game affects my life today, it really makes you think. Please only play this game if you are doing mentally well. Thank you.

The static speaks my name. (trigger warning: su!c!de)

The static speaks my name, is you playing as the main character in 1st person view. You go around your house, with many versions of this painting you are obessessed with. There is this man in this cage eating the same shrimp you eat, I see this as you stuck in this never ending cage and trapped with no where to go. In the end you set the cage free and then as you set it free, it means you let yourself free by ending it all. This game is very emotional by itself, but the meaning behind it hurts so much. The static holds others who felt the same way and ended it as well. I just want to say, ending it is never the answer, it is not worth it and there will be so much more better things to come within the future, you are an amazing person and I am so proud you are still here.

Su!c!de hotline number: 800-273-8255 you are not alone.
