Game Review: Team Sonic Racing

What we are reviewing today

Welcome to Senko game reviews, today I will be reviewing the 2019 video game Team Sonic Racing, I played it on the nintendo switch.

My rating

7/10, it was enjoyable, but has a bit of issues.

The issues

My issue was the glitches, delays, and the haunted castle racetrack. One time on the "Pinball Highway" track I was using Shadow and the track glitched and I fell through the game. I had no clue how it happened especially since the sides of the tracks had these small bumpers off the side, so it really confused me. Another glitch was while I was driving my car hit another and glitched out for a few seconds. A delay I came across what when I got hit by an item, my character wouldn't say the line until like 10 seconds later, so I would just be driving and then my character would be like curse you or whatever the line was.I also had an issue with seeing obstacles, like you couldn't even see them until you were hitting them. Now the haunted Castle racetrack.

My issue with this track is the lane where it's transparent. It has a green transparent and sure in the photo it may look just fine, but when you are zooming with all your teammates, this track can get extremely difficult on this part, I couldn't even see the road cause of how fast I was going and how transparent it was, otherwise this track is very pretty.

What is it about?

Well Team sonic racing is about a mysterious character thats a alien tanuki named Dodon Pa. He invites sonic friends to go do a racing in teams in order to win prizes. SPOILER His motive is to make an ultimate engine, and he chose Sonic and his friends cause he thought they would show him better than he could himself or his staff.

What I like about it

While it may have a few hiccups it still is a very nice game. Don't let the glitches scare you away, it is really fun to play, it has online so you can also play with your friends! The courses are beautiful and done really well, and the music is phenomenal. I'll be putting in some screenshots of the courses later on in this article. Also I really enjoyed the vehicle customization process and the little machine where you can win car parts, I really enjoyed that part. I say if the glitches get fixed I would definietly give it 10/10. I hope you all have a wonderful day and please check out this game!
